Diaphragm type pulsation dampener – PVDF
Common components for eliminating pipeline pulsation
Material | Connection method can be customized as per requirements
Shell material: PVC, SS304, SS316L, PVDF, PP, carbon steel, etc. (can be customized as per requirements) Diaphragm material: PTFE
Main functions:
1. Reduce the harm caused by water hammer to the system.
2. Minimize the peak value of flow rate fluctuations.
3. Protect the pipelines, elbows, and joints from the impact of pressure fluctuations.
4. Create a favorable working environment for the metering pump and improve its performance.
5. Allow the system to use smaller pipe diameters, thereby reducing costs.
6. Reduce the energy consumption of the system.

The diaphragm type pulse damper consists of upper and lower shells, with a polytetrafluoroethylene & rubber composite diaphragm separating the middle. It is the most commonly used pulse damper. The biggest advantage is that the diaphragm separates the pre-charged gas from the liquid in the pipeline, facilitating maintenance. Under appropriate selection and pressurization conditions, it can reduce the majority of pulses.
The diaphragm type pulse damper produced by our company made of PVC material has a maximum pressure resistance of 1.0 MPa. The maximum pressure resistance of the stainless steel material is generally 2.5 MPa, and the maximum pressure resistance is 5.0 MPa.
